This sad case of S54 cam bolt failure could have been prevented with our cam bolt installation before these loosened up and sheared. These valves hit the pistons so hard we are looking at a full rebuild to get this car back up and running. A quick highlight from Chuckwalla w/ Speed Ventures participating in our first BimmerChallenge...lap times kept coming down through the weekend. Fun track and great memories. We were joined by our friend Dieter....who provided some great insights to finding more ways to shave tenths off our times. @speedventures @bimmer_challenge

Now this will be one fun F80 w/ S55....with Pure Turbo Stage 2+. Crank Hub upgrade to be safe and plenty of room to tune in some power with these turbos + compared to factory! Some M Performance coil overs to help keep things on the ground, all while remaining civilized on the street. @pureturbos @bmw_mperformance

This week we have been working on 3 S54 engines all at different stages. One complete engine will get boxed up and shipped to Florida next week. A second engine needs a valve adjustment and will ship to Portland when complete. The last engine is going all the way to Israel for a high boost supercharger build. #S54 #s54supercharged #e46m3

Our S55 bottom end going together today for our shop car build. This engine will be rated to handle 1100whp. Pure Turbos stage 2+ will be used to pressurize this engine to make some big numbers. @pureturbos @cp_carrillo

Our DTM S14 header went through a redesign this fall and works more easily on a stock E30 M3 without having to relocate the coolant reservoir. This S14 header is good for 300whp on a big cam 2.5L evo build and delivers great torque on a 2.7L Stroker engine.

Getting started on our 3rd S63 engine in a row. We are excited about the S63 and S63TU platform for 2021. This one will be for an X5M that will be given some headroom to make some big power when the owner wants to. This is yet another rod bearing failure engine.

The shop F80 M3 making some big torque gains on the BOOTMOD3 Stage 1 tune. The car is completely stock except for the exhaust system. Impressive to see 100wtq gains on this engine. We had to install new plugs and gap to .020 as the car was immediately misfiring with the stock plug. Only 40k on this engine. - #bootmod3 @protuningfreaks #s55 #f80m3 #f82m4
