We’ve launched our Hobie 33 For the season and have already taken 5 groups sailing on Lake Tahoe! Get your group together and come sailing on Lake Tahoe! We can accommodate up to six people. Costs is $500 total for a 3 hour sail.

Sailing Lake Tahoe last night was magical. Steady 9 kts of breeze making 7 kts upwind. The boat slices through the water effortlessly and you get a heightened sensation of speed. There is still a full month in the season if anyone wants to do a night charter.

My son had just completed a sailing course and Nick put him in charge of a lot of things. We were able to take a dip in the lake, very refreshing and fun. Wind was great so the kids were also able to do a little halyard swinging, the absolute highlight. HL Huey June, 2020 Captain Nick was a fantastic host, captain, and teacher and my family of four enjoyed an fun-filled adventure on the water. I have sailing experience on smaller Lido 14 and Captain Nick let me handle the tiller and the main sheet and was giving me pointers on how to read the wind and wave the whole time. We had great wind in 20 knots range was sailing upwind and downwind in at speed of 8-14 knot including heeling experience that my wife and kids enjoyed a great deal. We will definitely want to go out with Captain Nick again the next time we are in Tahoe. Thank you Captain Nick for a wonderful sailing day.
