In-person families: are you unable to pick up your child at 2:30pm and are still figuring out rides? Lakeshore volunteers are offering rides! See the list of offers and tips in ParentSquare https://www.parentsquare.com/feeds/7179690. Contact them to see if they're a good fit. Let us know if you've arranged rides through this list! If you have, be sure to list the volunteer family on your Emergency Card so they are authorized to pick up your child!

Lakeshore is welcoming back K2 and Special Day Classes (SDC) on 4/19, and grades 3-5 on 4/26. In-person classes will be 2 days a week. Pickup for General Ed is 2:30pm, 3:30 for SDC. Some families may not be able to send kids back because they cannot pick up at that time. If you can help another Lakeshore family by picking up another child and driving them home or watching them until the parent can pick up from you, please tell us at https://forms.gle/z26MJiAzkDUByFwf9. We'll... publish volunteer contact info in ParentSquare. Families who need a pickup will get in touch with you. (Fine print: Note that this activity is not school-sponsored or PTA-sponsored. It is a family-to-family activity run by Lakeshore parents and guardians, not as representatives of the PTA. By participating, you assume any liability dealing with transportation, potential virus contagion, conflict, or other issues and do not hold SFUSD or the Lakeshore PTA responsible for any problems that may arise. This form and list are offered solely as a way for people to connect with each other in this difficult time. Thank you for understanding.)

Parent/guardian heads-up for this week!: April 5-8 are teacher work days. Your child will continue to log on to their Zoom classroom daily at 9:30 for their morning meeting. Teachers will provide asynchronous work for all students to complete on these work days, but after the morning meeting, regular synchronous instruction will be cancelled to provide teachers time to prepare for their return to hybrid learning. (Some specials may still occur with those instructors; check your teacher's update in ParentSquare.) Please make a note for your calendars.
