Last nights 1 Thessalonian study had a great turnout and brought more new people . Bible study is a means of grace which helps us to grow spiritually. What a joy to see so many saints wanting to grow and dig deeper into Gods word.

Family Focused Prayer: David Mendoza David has been attending Lakeshore for 11 years. He started attending back when the Worship Team didn't wear shoes. He has served on the Prayer Team as well as the Set-up/Tear-down Team. He works as an Inventory Analyst for Nestle Waters and just celebrated his 30th year at Nestle. He has lived in Corona since 1960 and raised his children here. His son David is a CPA with the accounting firm Ernst & Young and his daughter Stephanie is a St...atistical Analyst for WestStat in Chicago. Hobbies: He enjoys cooking, woodworking, and tinkering. His favorite sport is NASCAR. Fun Facts: He is Brandi Cloward's uncle and he has never had Facebook, Twitter, or any other social media accounts. Prayer request: That God would keep his family healthy and continue to guide him to be a better father, brother, friend, neighbor, and servant.

The compassion and kindness of God. Yesterday we took a long look at 2 Samuel 14:14: Like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be recovered, so we must die. But that is not what God desires; rather, he devises ways so that a banished person does not remain banished from him.... God devised a plan to save YOU. Circumstances & people were not randomGod specifically used someone to invite you to church or share the gospel with you. The same kindness that was shown to us, let us extend that kindness to those we see who are lost and without Christ. Two things we were challenged as a church family: 1. Stay mission-focused on the gospel during a time of heightened distraction. 2. Pray about who God may be using you to invite to church/share the gospel with.
