Today, as we kick off "National Volunteer Week", we would like to thank the hundreds of volunteers that came together to bring the new playground to Lake Murray. The sun is setting on the Lake Murray Playground Project: The LMPP committee gathered last night to celebrate the completion of the new playground at Lake Murray Community Park. The playground is built, the final round of pavers have been installed, new shade trees have been planted, and the remaining funds have been transferred to the city's San Carlos/Lake Murray Recreation Council for the playground's continued maintenance. Thank you to our amazing community for making this dream a fun-filled reality. See you at the playground!

1 year ago, this weekend, 100+ dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves and assembled one of the best playgrounds in the city. Countless parties have been thrown, lifelong memories made, friendships created and so many lives impacted every single day. Here's to our awesome volunteers! Congratulations on making a difference.
