For those of you asking about the Public Boat Ramp:

Lake Sonoma opens day use areas GEYSERVILLE, Calif. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Sonoma has opened all day use areas to the public starting this ...week. Day use areas include Yorty Creek and the Warm Springs Recreation Area, which includes access to the disc golf course and dog park. Shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and users are encouraged to recreate responsibly by not organizing gatherings larger than CDC, state or county recommendations and by following social-distancing guidance. Due to the lake’s low water level, the launch ramp at Yorty Creek will remain closed and dry throughout the 2021 recreation season, but the public boat launch ramp remains open. Boaters are urged to use caution while boating at Lake Sonoma with conditions changing daily as the water level recedes throughout the dry season. For more information, you can call the Lake Sonoma Visitor Center at 707-431-4533.

Invasive species aren't just in the lakes or on your boats, now they are showing up in aquarium products as well. Please help stop the spread! #zebramussels #quaggamussels #invasivespecies #musseldogs

Boaters 40 years old or younger are now required to have a California Boater Card to operate on state waters, and boaters of all ages must have one by 2025. Here’s a link to get your card from Boat California that is good for life: https://californiaboatercard.com/applynow/
