Darren King, our very own LVN, served in the Marine Corps in 1980. He is a very proud Marine and was happy to serve his country, as were our eight veteran residents that we celebrated on Veterans Day. We presented all of them with patriotic certificates, patriotic ornaments and patriotic masks. We also did Patriot Trivia with all our residents and handed out patriotic ornaments for prizes.

Our activities staff handed out Labor Day goodies to all of our residents on Labor Day! We shared Rice Krispy Crunchies, Famous Amos Cookes, fruit and puddings. Refreshments were also served!

Kat Young, our case manager, leads our Rise and Shine Program while our residents follow and dance in their wheelchairs. Our residents look forward to this program daily because it gives them a chance to listen to great music, dance and move, and have fun!

Chef Joseph cooked up taco salad with all the fixings and a delightful punch and served it to our staff to celebrate our hard-working associates!
