Our LNS guinea pigs, birds, fish, and turtle are well cared for by our wonderful families while classes are not in-person. And with our outdoor playground sign-ups, our bunnies now get visited by different children every day!

Looking forward to the start of our Grab n Go activity bag program this year! It will be different, but we are excited!

Although we are offering a distance learning option this Fall instead of in-person classes, this photo montage is a glimpse of our lovely preschool during non-COVID times. We love our LNS families and community!

Lafayette Nursery School has decided to remain closed due to COVID-19. We are offering members a distance learning option, which includes activity bags, parent education, and access to our playground. Please email [email protected] if you would like further details or to enroll. We have spots available if you are interested or know anyone looking for an at-home program!

We have plans to re-open in Fall 2020 with adjusted class sizes and schedules! Our number one priority is the safety of the children, and we will follow health guidelines in the most developmentally appropriate way possible. Please contact [email protected] for more information!

Today is the last day of our school year and although we haven't had physical classes since March, we have continued to run the school with virtual learning and by providing activities, parent ed, and tips to keep our kiddos busy! We are so thankful for our LNS families and community and look forward to returning in the Fall!

Join us for Lafayette Nursery School’s 43rd Annual Science Day of Discovery on May 4th! Make a volcano explode, send a rocket into space, or explore the GUI texture of flubber. If that’s not enough, become an archaeologist for the day and dig for dinosaur bones, or create giant bubbles. These are just a few of the activities at the 43rd annual Lafayette Nursery School Science Day of Discovery. This hands on science fair features exhibits and experiments designed for children... preschool age through third grade. It’s a great experience for the whole family! Firefighter Connie saved the day in a fun afternoon of pretend at LNS. The 4/5s class enjoyed a field trip to the Lafayette Fire Station this week and learned about all things hot!
