Well, we knew this was coming... due to a shrinking number of vendors and attendees, Urban Village has decided to end the season on Sunday, Sept. 1st. So, there are two weeks left to stop by on Sunday from 9am-1pm and find something unique to share with your family.

In honor of National Farmers Market Week, we bring you four funny questions that farmers get over and over and over again...

Today is a LocalMotion Sunday in Lafayette! Ride or walk to the Lafayette Farmer's Market and get coupons to spend at the market. Just tell the info desk you rode/walked. 9am to 1pm.

One of the great things about a farmers' market is that it reminds us of what is in season in Northern California right now. Did you know that the Lafayette Farmers' Market is a "California Certified Farmers' Market?" This means that every farmer and producer at the market is certified by the State, and that they grow or make everything they sell. See you at the market tomorrow 9am - 1pm!

Come out to the farmers market tomorrow and try a spanish tortilla from Patatas. It's different from a Mexican tortilla - it is an egg and potato omelet. You order it plain, with red peppers or with spinach.
