This is a beautiful girl who just needs some love and care and will undoubtedly return it exponentially.

National Dog day today. I celebrated with some of my favorite friends and running mates with scenic runs in Runyan Canyon and Venice Beach.

Took this beautiful boy and his brother for a walk today. They are both wonderful dogs, very friendly and happy. They are both available for adoption through Ace of Hearts.

Ohhhhhh, Robert. Poor Robert was having a crummy week. His owner gave him to his brother, who kept him for three days and then dropped him off at the shelter. T...here Robert sat, wondering how he had ended up in this pickle, and what on earth was next. Then, things started to look upan FBRN volunteer showed up at the shelter, and whisked Robert off to his foster home. Robert's tummy was a little upset when he arrived in foster care, but canned pumpkin and probiotics are working their magic. He also suffers from the itchies, and has infected ears, so Foster Mom will work her magic on this cute little fella and see if we can't get this boy on the road to recovery so he can start searching for his forever home in the new year. If you would like to sponsor Robert, and help fill his tummy and his toy box, just click on the "Sponsor Me" button in his main profile: http://frenchbulldogrescue.org//foste/foster-dogs/robert/ Thank you!

Looks like 4 breeds that need an active lifestyle.

What do Lhasa apsos, German Shepherds, Basset Hounds, Dachsunds, and Huskies have in common? Not much when it comes to their activity needs, yet every day I see dog walkers loaded up with up to 12 dogs of every size and shape slowly working their way around the block. Today alone I witnessed groups which included: bored huskies, shepherds, greyhounds, mixed with old basset hounds, dachshunds, and chihuahas, all linked together moving at the pace of the slowest dog. All dogs need exercise but some need much more than others to satisfy their physical and psychological demands. LA Dog Jogger is dedicated to assuring those active dogs living in LA get the exercise and mental stimulation that they need.
