Coach Andy Clifford served up his signature turkey workouts this week to the Ladera Oaks Masters. Happy Thanksgiving!

LO Masters swimmer Jen Roost had a terrific Mermaid triathlon race this past weekend in Capitola, finishing first in her age group in the Olympic category, starting with a 1.5 kilometer open water swim around the Capitola wharf before the bike and run segments. Meanwhile at UC Davis, LO Masters swimmers Steve McAdams and David Madison swam a pentathlon meet, swimming a 50 meter short course race in each of the four strokes, plus a 100 meter IM race to finish.

Ladera Oaks Masters celebrated Herb Stone's birthday today following the noon workout. A guy like Herb deserves TWO cakes!

LO Masters swimmer Jeanne Cambra-Brungard continued her run of national top ten finishes with 6th, 8th, and 11th placings in the 200, 100, and 50 meter breaststroke races at the USMS Summer Nationals held earlier this month in Gresham, Oregon. Congratulations Jeanne!
