Today the CRT management team delivered Teddy Bears to responders at their homes and workplaces for children suffering from a traumatic experience in our City. We are extremely grateful and cannot thank a young man named Christopher enough, who donates boxes of Teddy Bears to our team every year!! #Compassion #Partnership #Empathy
The Mayor’s Crisis Response Team at LAPD OVB 911 Communications Division tonight. We are extremely grateful for the tour and the very informative presentation by the two awesome PSR’s that spent the evening with CRT discussing the incredible and difficult service they provide to our City of almost 4 million people! Last year, 911 operators took over 4.8 million calls citywide from Angelenos!
We know that our services are appreciated by the people we serve, because we can see it in the faces of survivors. However, we don't always get to hear it. Our CRT management team, received this note and we would like to share with you: "Our whole neighborhood is so grateful for the Mayor's Office Response team and the support they provided after a suicide." OWB-Hollywood constituent. We deeply appreciate the recognition and will continue to provide meaningful support that impacts Angelenos during their darkest moments.
Early this morning our City and Police Department lost a young officer tragically to a senseless act of violence. RIP Officer Juan Diaz as God welcomes you home. Today, was my third time with the Mayor’s Crisis Response Team having to assist with a notification to a family of a fallen Officer. It’s never easy, but always a profound honor. Thank you CRT for the important work you did today. Officer Diaz... you have an incredible family and they will be taken care of, we promise you that! #Thinblueline #lapd #Blessedarethepeacemakers #wegotyou
It’s been a very busy night for CRT - 4 callouts in 3 hrs. One in OCB and three deployments in OVB. Thank you to the incredible team that makes CRT so great! We appreciate your help, compassion and empathy for those who are unfortunately experiencing their darkest moments. Again, Thank you for helping our communities and making our City a more caring place to live! JA
To all CRT members, I am deeply appreciative of your expression of sympathy, kindness and support during this difficult time. It’s such a privilege and honor to serve as your director! Thank you so much for the beautiful arrangement of yellow roses and emails of condolences. I’m overwhelming touched
Tonight we proudly graduated 25 newest members of the Mayor’s CRT. We are appreciative of Mayor ERIC GARCETTI, LAPD Chief Michel Moore and LAFD Fire Chief Ralph Terrazas - for never missing a CRT graduation and for your remarks to the graduating class! A very special thank you to Asst. Chief Beatrice Grimala for serving as our MC and the very touching personal story that you shared.
