It is National Volunteer Week. We are extremely thankful for and proud of our three volunteer interns from Rio Hondo College. They make a huge difference every day they are at La Casa! All three will be transferring to California State Universities. Thank you and congratulations.
Thank you to the City of San Gabriel for their donation of cases of bottled water. The Department of Public Works delivered the cases.
La Casa de San Gabriel is celebrating 75 years of serving the community. We will be celebrating with a virtual fundraising event, and invite you to be part of our celebration. Stay tuned. More to come.

This weekend, families including parents and children received new sports clothing thanks to ICNA Relief USA. Thank you to Rick Khan with the Mosque of San Gabriel for bringing the opportunity, volunteers from Lifeway Church for helping with setup and distribution, and San Gabriel Council Member Denise Menchaca for your continued support. Working together to make a difference.

We cannot do it alone. It’s about collective impact. Thank you to Hope Worldwide Lifeway Church for the amazing food drive held this weekend. The goal was to collect 2,000 pounds of food. Your members came together and as a community collected 4,610 pounds of food for La Casa’s food distribution efforts. Thank you with a heart full of gratitude.

The Preschool Director is responsible to manage and oversee La Casa’s Preschool and childcare program operations while ensuring that teachers engage in a safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate manner within the educational setting. In addition, the Preschool Director must ensure that La Casa’s food program meets all compliance requirements including food distribution and reporting Preschool Director must also work closely and collaborate with the Executive Director to build relationships with community partners, board of directors and donors.
