Something to warm up the Chill! Have you seen our Deli Case lately? Well we've got a little bit of something for everybody especially to take home and warm up with during these chilly months. AS always we have our ready made Muffuletta sandwiches (beware many people find them highly addictive!) made with local legends Zoe's Meats black forest ham, Italian coppa and salami, havarti cheese, cabbage slaw and our housemade olive salad (castelveltrano olives, shallots, parsley, ga...rlic, peppers, olive oil and vinegar) We're also offering our chocolate chip cookie dough ($16 for 2 lb) and our chocolate chip with peanut butter pretzel cookie dough ($18 for 2 lb). Our ultimate comfort food, chicken pot pie (or veggie version with mushrooms) is back on the menu! It's a bechamel sauce with lots of good veggies, onion, fennel, carrot, leek, and kale. It's $14 and comes with a side salad (honestly sometimes it's filling enough for 2 people) What's really exciting is our selection of soups. Of late we've been featuring our New England clam chowder which features loads of chunky clam with onion, fennel, leek, potato and bacon. Our coconut curry soup (vegan) is another good option made with either lentils or garbanzos and again with loads of chunky vegetables and spinach. And our beef chili is sure to warm you up and includes pinto beans, black beans, onion, carrots, and fennel and tomato. So come on in and check it out and take something home for the family!
