All of us are adjusting in one way or another to "the new normal." For the first time ever, a large portion of the workforce has transitioned into remote work, our office included. As we make this historical shift together, we've decided to dedicate Wednesdays to offering up some of our team member's tips on staying motivated and inspired while #WFH, sharing photos of our makeshift workspaces, and the best ways we're staying connected as a team. Yesterday, California Governor Gavin Newsom took a giant step forward in preventing the spread of COVID-19 by enacting a Stay At Home order across the state, mandating that California residents remain in their homes, except to fulfill essential needs. The executive order is completely silent regarding cannabis businesses and as of now neither the BCC, the CDFA, nor the CDPH have made any official statements about whether cannabis businesses can remain open. However, state and local officials are increasingly declaring cannabis businesses "essential" services.
