This was featured in my stories today but it deserves a post. This bloom was unexpected and grew so quickly, I’m glad I didn’t miss it! This is the first time this gorgeous thing has bloomed after being neglected for quite some time. Thanks to @howtosucculents for the ID. @ Redding, California

I’ve been growing this Staghorn Fern for about a year and a half now and its strong leaves captivate me. I can’t help but touch those leaves every time I walk by it. I’ve mounted a couple staghorns with varied results but this one that I potted is thriving. It is currently growing not one but two shield fronds.

New leaf on my Monstera that I am desperately trying to save from a spider mite infestation. Praying this gorgeous plant survives!
