Bison "We are looking for 10 young women to participate in-person for our Skin Champion Stunt Workshop that introduces teen girls to the stunt industry in Hollywood. On this day 154 years ago, The U.S. Congress chartered Howard on March 2, 1867, and much of its early funding came from endowment, private benefaction, and tuition. In its first five years of operation, Howard University educated over 150,000 freed slaves.

Marriott Foundation will provide a $20 million endowment to establish the Marriott-Sorenson Center fo...r Hospitality Leadership in honor of Marriott International’s beloved president and CEO, Arne Sorenson, who tragically passed away last week from pancreatic cancer. In addition, Marriott International announces the creation of the Arne M. Sorenson Hospitality Fund which will support the critical programmatic and career development elements of the Hospitality Center. The Marriott-Sorenson Center for Hospitality Leadership, which will be housed in Howard University’s School of Business, will feature a best-in-class program that expands educational and professional opportunities for Howard students and aims to develop future executives in the hospitality industry. She has held positions such as Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Director, Senior Editor, Research Manager, and White House Correspondent at publications and websites that include Uptown magazine, Vogue, Architectural Digest, In Style, O, (The Oprah magazine), Glamour, Ebony and Jet magazines. A few of Bryna's marketing and branding clients include Shea Moisture, Dove, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and Unilever.
