Reminding myself that saying ‘yes’ to one thing might mean saying ‘no’ to other things. Saying ‘yes’ to photographing a free or discounted session might mean no to doing admin work, or editing a full wedding, or no to spending time with nephews, or no to getting a restful day in. So, pick the right yeses carefully. I’ve been practicing let me get back to you on that as my default answer and it has truly, truly been a game changer.
