Baby Tabitha was just surrendered to us Wednesday morning. We were told she is suffering from fecal incontinence and the people were not able to provide proper care. She’s 11 weeks old and immediately broke our hearts. We need to get her better and let her have a happy life! We immediately took her to our vet. She had a high amount of worms and her little bh is super inflamed. She’s on antibiotics and topical medication for the tushy. Worst case, she’s going to need an M...RI to see what’s going on. Best case, her tushy heals and she is able to have control for a normal bowel movement. Time will tell. For now.... Lots of pee pads. Lots of laundry. Lots of love & patience. We jumped in to help Tabitha to give her a better life. This is where we need your help is needed and appreciated. We can’t do any of this without the help of our fellow animal lovers. Introducing Kenzie. She was adopted from us in April 2017. We called her Patty Cakes and she was about 10wks old. They reached out for help because they could no longer keep her due to a divorce. We’re sad for Kenzie for losing the only home she’s ever known. We got you Kenzie! We'll find you a true forever home. She's about 50lbs, very friendly, house trained, good with kids and other dogs. Not sure about cats but our guess is she'll be fine with dog savvy cats. If you follow Loreta & Hope For Paws you probably saw this girl's post. She's in bad shape and too weak for surgery at this time. Anemic, severe arthritis, skin infection, missing an eye, mammary tumors and a few other issues. She's now up here at L A Animal Rescue so we can keep her as happy and comfortable as possible. She will not be available for adoption. She will stay here in hospice care. Most of her teeth are busted and worn down so she's on a soft food diet. She's n...ot used to having a bed! She keeps rolling up the rug or blanket and using that. We added a couple of dog beds and some canned food on our wishlist that we think she'll like. Buddy update and an added surprise... Buddy's tumor is gnarly and our vet doesn't see enough skin to close it up. But it can't stay that way so we're getting him in to surgery today. We have no idea what the cost will be at this time. With the size and location of the tumor, we don't know what can be done. But it's urgent that something gets done. It's oozing with infection and the skin has rotted. Keep Buddy in your thoughts. When we called in to pull Buddy we h...eard that there were some baby ducks that had just been seized in a raid. Of course, we couldn’t say no. It ended up being 10 duckies & 2 chicks. Yup, there goes the bathroom for the next few weeks!
