Our Awsome youth director 'Miss Maria' always has a great activity or game ready to go. Taking the popular game "Among Us she created a live action version of the which gets the kids moving communicating and having A-blast. Definitely the most favorite game of Winter camp. Distance Learning Families, **LAUSD is having a pupil free day January 11th** We will be providing service for our registered families at no additional cost.... We had a great time with our winter break campers! We will be using that experience to create an awesome Summer Camp for our kids that will be flexible enough in case we are still dealing with Covid restrictions. On that note it seems that LAUSD may not return to classroom education this semester. However, that could change at any time. We are preparing for either eventuality. If schools open, we will be ready with our Woodland Hills Best transported after school program. We intend to be flexible so we can meet the needs of our families. As a parent I am also aware of the difficulties some of our kids are experiencing. I will be working with my wife who is a credentialed teacher to come up with some fun and easy to implement ways to maintain and improve reading skills for our members. We will make it fun with rewards for the group to celebrate our successes. As we get ready to return to our distance learning I want to remind everyone to start taking your child’s temperature at home daily and screen for any symptoms. When in doubt, take a day off. Referrals-Referrals-Referrals! Parents we have a couple spaces in our program. If you refer a family to Woodland Hills Best both you and the new family will receive a free week of Distance Learning. Same goes for Summer Camp, and our Martial Arts Program (Free Month). Yes, we will have Camps available for MLK Monday Jan 18th, and Presidents Day Monday February 15th. Most of the kids have their school breaks at different times but every now and then they get to hang out and be social believe is the most important aspect of our program.

Morning break time, the kids have developed a lego version of the game Among Us and are engaging in creative play.
