Just another friendly PSA about why you should refi your now not later (I am not a Lender- just your friend): Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac introduced this $500 per $100,000 refi fee, probably because interest rates are so low they’re looking for ways to make. If you were to refi a $300,000 home loan they’d charge you $1500 This came out of the blue and hasn’t been received very well by lenders and clients alike. Today I learned it has been postponed until January 20...21. Hurry up and get your refi done . A penny saved is a penny earned. We’ve lived in our two years and because we refinanced our payment is $760/month less than when we moved in. That makes a difference, especially when you have college to pay for .
