More photos from our new/beginner shooting today. Thanks to all of the Range Safety Officers that came out to make this possible. Special THANKS to Jennifer and Heather, newly trained 4-H Shooting Sports Shotgun Trainers, for their excellent application of the training techniques they acquired.

We had 14 new/beginner shooters at the range today. It makes it so enjoyable when new shooters get this excited about their accomplishments.

Our monthly meeting scheduled for Thursday, February 25 has been canceled, due to scheduling conflicts. A meeting notice was sent out on February 15, but some members reported not receiving it. Another cancellation email notice was sent out today.

We held a successful Introductory to Trap Shooting class today. Lots of great people learning a new skill.

UPDATE 10/2/2020 This morning, the Forest Service lifted the closure of the National Forest System lands south of the Tulare County line. Therefore, the range is open to members and guests.

UPDATE 9/30/2020 NOTICE: Due to high wildfire danger conditions, the Forest Service has extended the closure of the National Forest System lands until Oct. 8th. Therefore, the range remains closed to members and guests, until further notice.

The closure of the Sequoia National Forest, by the U.S. Forest Service includes leased land, such as our range, Therefore, the range is closed to all members and guest until further notice.
