SOUTH AFRICA GLOBAL YOUTH PEACE SUMMIT DECEMBER 2018 I volunteered as a therapist at the South Africa Global Youth Peace Summit in December 2018. The summit brought together 60+ youth (ages 16-23) from many countries in Africa for a week focused on leadership development, personal growth, and cultural exchange. I can say yes to both of these questions and most likely you can, too. I just spent four inspiring days at Kripalu in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts. I have worked as a therapist for 20 years and I have done things differently than most therapists for the majority of that time. I was taught in graduate school to recommend to every client that we meet weekly for a 50-minute session. I remember looking around the classroom when that was recommended and all of the other students were busy writing this down in their notes.
