Historical implications on business.

Kristin Martinez 04.11.2020

Hey all! This weekend, I got to hang out with thought leaders from my profession! Oh, and btw... I am one of them. I spoke on how PC Management came to be, and shared some quick easy things to integrate into business to improve teaming and productivity. Although my system birthed out of my career as a therapist- it is not only for therapists. It's just for companies that see the old way isn't working anymore. They want something new and different.... That's what I offer. I offer a vision into the way things CAN be with individualized plans for management and staff that meet your needs. I can help troubleshoot problems using the PC questioning method. I can help transform your business. Reach out to me for a free consult on how I can help you extinguish staff and management issues while building a company culture you're proud to own. Freaking amazing. #tr2019 #moderntherapist

What are your non-negotiables with staff? For me, it's honesty. I believe we can work through anything if we all have the honest details! Name yours below!

Non-negotiables for staff. What really makes you unable to work with someone?

I know I want to have someone who fits with the culture and company I am trying to build. That means, I want someone who is comfortable with working via mobile, computer, and who gets things done without a ton of involvement from supervisors or managers. What are some questions that I might ask someone? How do you feel about the use of technology in a workplace? Do you think culture can be built with a remote workforce?... What are some things that you value in working with team members? How do you feel appreciated at work? When someone gives you a task or problem to solve, what is your general way to begin it? When you come across a problem, how do you solve it? The questions aren't enough though- I need to know the answers that I am looking for. -How do you feel about tech in the workplace? I want to hear that someone is excited to see how technology can help improve the lives of how we work. I want someone who is comfortable with tech, and who can explain how they would use current tech to inform how they work in a mobile work environment. Do you think culture can be built in a remote workforce: I want to hear someone who is not shakey on this point. Culture is important, and I want to know someone feels comfortable in using remote methods to build rapport and culture. How do you feel appreciated: This is a question aimed at understanding and starting a conversation about how this person feels valued. I have to know if it is a good fit for me. I like to write cards, emails, and send gifts as forms of appreciation. I want to know if that fits in for them and if they will feel appreciated with the methods that I use. Etc. Etc. What about you guys? What are some of the questions you ask, and the answers that you look for?

How do you find out if someone will be a good fit for a position? Have you ever drafted out questions with answers you'd like and not like to hear? Making hiring objective is so important. Remove your bias by planning out who and what you want in a candidate. Think about culture of your organization, think about the work, think about what would make a candidate successful.... Then create a question and answer key to score and rate candidates first on their resume, and then in their interview. Visit me at www.kristinmartinezconsulting.com to see how I can help you figure out how to grow and sustain an awesome organizational culture using person centered management!
