The #FK8 is looking killer @type_r_jose! #Repost Thanks to @bigredksr the Attack FK8 is another step closer to hit the track. As we all know, CTR’s have ove...rheating issues at the track so our main task is to make sure we can keep the engine temps as low as possible. The first thing we did was to get a hood & bumper with more ventilation (Varis hood & Spoon bumper). Ken then decided to block off the extra side grills on the bumper leaving the middle as the only open area for the air to run through. He then did some ducting behind the bumper to ensure the air is force to only run through the intercooler, oil cooler, and radiator. The Greddy oil cooler was relocated to the middle since the sides are blocked off now. We also ditched the A/C system allowing us to remove the condenser that sat right in front of the radiator. There is also a few other cooling things he did, but you can send him a DM for more inquiries . Ken also built us a splitter, and made a quick disconnect on the bumper allowing us to remove the splitter set up in less than 1 minute (check out his page to see the video on the bumper/splitter removal). After installing the JRZ’s we needed to find a secure place for our external reservoirs so Ken built us a sweet looking bracket that is attached to the front J’s Racing strut bar, and to the roll bar for the rear . Last but not least, he built a T-bar on the front, which gives us more room to access the front area of the engine bay. We are more than happy with all the work @bigredksr did to the FK8 so make sure to hit him up for all your custom needs! . #AttackFK8 #koyorad
