Apfelstrudel! Mahlzeit!

Old school making of the apfelstrudel (apple strudel) is alive and well at Konditorei. Master Pastry Chef Albert Kutternig (assisted by Pastry baker Eva Blair) demonstrates the masterful step by step making of the all time traditional Viennese favorite. Served warm with Konditorei’s very own vanilla sauce. Mahlzeit!

Today, June 1st, 30 years ago, Konditorei Austrian Pastry Cafe was born in Davis, California. Albert and I, together with our three lovely daughters, wish to share our beautiful memories of our 30 years in business. Through thick and thin, through tears of joy and challenges and risks in between, thank you to all our loyal clientele who have supported us with open arms. The American Dream is alive and well! Our patio dining is officially open Wednesday May 27, 2020. We are committed to serve you and earn your confidence under the guidelines and recommendations of the Yolo County Public Health Department. We look forward to seeing you all again.
