HI EVERYONE......Can we say happy spring!!!! Was up on Table Mountain midweek and is was beautiful. I want to THANK EVERYONE for the calls and stopping by to congratulate me mistakenly on the donation from our wonderful local hero who had selected several businesses to support with a large financial infusions. KONA's was mentioned on the news as one of them, but I can only assume they meant the downtown location. GOOD FOR THEM!!!!! We have been so lucky with all your support this past 12 crazy months. I feel very very blessed to have ALL OF YOU supporting us. I hope the support the other location is going to receive helps them in a way that you all have helped us. SEE YOU ALL SOON at the store. Hi gang. As November draws to close during Thanksgiving week, I wanted to wish you all safe travels and safety in general during this difficult COVID time. We are closing wed-Sat. Myself and my amazing staff have worked extra hard this fall to help eveyone with their needs. I think its only fair to give them time to rest. We will see you all Sunday AND in December. Well everybody....tough two weeks. We have said goodbye to Darby who is off to SoCal to finish her studies, Sam who is about to enter a 4 year, and Megan who graduated and heading back to Central Cal. It's happy/sad for us as we are so happy for them all but so sad they won't be part of the Kona's on Nord TEAM anymore. We are hoping for visits in the future and are proud to put their nametags up on the "WALL OF FAME". Peace and hugs gang!!!!!

Hi friends. Several customer/friends have been sending me PM's thru FB. We are NOT closed for good. Sorry for how my page looks. We are extending the holiday closure because Tin Roof has several wholesale staff in COVID protocols and they are completely shut down. It looks like for another week. We made the tough decision NOT to use any other bread. So I will post on FB when we are ready to go and will also send a blast of 5stars. I am very sorry for the challenges as we wanted to be open from the holidays starting today. Hope to see you all very soon and PLEASE stay safe, be smart, wear a mask. Hi all....Happy Thursday. With a RASH of new cases of COVID19 in Butte County I wanted to humbly remind everyone that we are wearing masks to protect YOU and US. We ask that you do the same. Yes....There is a sign at the door stating that you wear masks. The folks that stormed out this AM that WERE NOT distancing nor wearing masks from the Pond company, Sorry. Not gonna risk our health and frankly yours because of stubbornness/ignorance. And its time to stop being polite about it. WE WOULD LOVE to serve you at our store if you are safe. Hi everyone. I know I posted out impending Holiday closure from 12/24 thru 12/28 BUT I was sadly informed that a KEY local fresh vendor is in COVID protocols. Rather than buy "lessor" quality product such as frozen or mass produced, we have made the tough decision to wait it out. We have product for today thru prior planning but we will be closing at 7pm for the rest of the year. I will post as I know more but we hope to have product and be making awesome new year subs around the 3rd. Thank you all SOOOO much for understanding. Myself and my staff are continuing to stay safe, no gatherings, and testing for their safety and yours......Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.....

Hi Gang......Happy Holidays. A couple of quick things: 1. We will be closed from the 24th thru the 27th so my awesome staff can take some well deserved holiday time off. 2. We ARE still open and will be with the Stay at Home orders starting on the 11th. We are doing CURBSIDE call in, DOORDASH deliveries, and you can also order for pickup via orders.cake.net. Please be wearing a mask when you enter the store to grab your food and if there are others we have been and will conti...nue to be social distancing. Happy Thursday everyone. Just wanted to put a shout out there that we will be closed on the 4th of July. Staff wants to go floating etc so they deserve some fun. Thank you ALL for the overwelming response during the COVID19 situation. We REALLY appreciate everyone practicing social distancing in the store AND wearing a mask as we are for YOUR safety as well as ours. Don't forget you can always use our online ordering for curbside pick up at CAKE.NET or you can use DOORDASH for deliveries(we are approaching 1000 deliveries for the YEAR!!!!). Always such a very happy/sad time of year around the shop. We have seniors from CSUC that are coming into the Kona's on Nord for the last time. Literally brings many emotions and tears to my eyes and my staffs. Shunt and Jerod came by in the last 2 days to say goodbye. Many others packing up this weekend and we are laughing about the good times, and celebrating their success, and "sending them off to the real world". Love and hugs to ALL our granduates!!! You may be leaving B...UT not forgotten. Still waiting for Corey from San Diego, Aaron who is working at the state capital, and/or Matt who is working for Yelp in AZ, Alexa and Corey from El Dorado Hills who just had their 1st child!!!, and ALL our other "family members" from years past to stop by again for a sami, a hug, and some laughs. WELL April is in the books........I am very very proud to say we made it!!!! lots of local support, on line ordering, and in no small part Doordash. We learned how to smoke our own meats and have more than doubled our sales with the new products as all of YOU have given a huge thumbs up to what we are doing. With April coming to a close, our daily soup offerings are done til the fall. We can and will make anyone a whole batch of their fav soup we offer. Just give us a shout. Thank you all again for all the amazing local support these past weeks. We are no where close to being out of the woods, but we just wanted to give a shout to all of your loyal friends. Well Im excited to announce we HIRED a new staffer to accommodate the pick ups and Doordash orders. We are also EXPANDING our hour back to 11am to 7pm. Starting Monday the 27th. Wow... we set a plan just before Christmas, launched our elaborate menu on Doordash.net and less than 4 months later we topped 500 Orders. Recently due to covid19, we were forced to look at alternatives for our smoked Tri tip, turkey, and slow roasted pulled pork....Well, we now own a smoker and smoke applewood tri tips and Turkey and slow roast pulled pork. We are humbly going thru 50% more product as all of YOU are overwhelmingly liking what we are doing in house. That you all sooooooo much....remember doordash is free for delivery on weekends thru May and you can also order for pickup at cake.net.....peace .....Dave

GREETINGS FRIENDS.... I hope everyone is being safe and smart about hand washing and sanitizing. I just want to assure everyone that ALL staff at Kona's on Nord is HYPER focusing on this topic. You may hear us asking you to sanitize before using the POS to pay by credit card(hands free dispenser at front counter). We may humbly also ask you to back away from service counter while waiting for your food to be prepared if you seem to have a cold or are coughing. For all our cust...omers/staffs safety we ask everyone to be smart and respectful and know we are doing everything we can to provide a clean, safe, and friendly environment(along with yummy food). We have also made a decision this both colleges out for an extended period of time to move our business hours to 11am to 7pm. This applies to on line ordering and Door Dash as well. Hi everyone! What a CRAZY spring semester. Thank you ALL! Our sales were up 30%!!!!!! And...we ran soups an extra month with all the popularity...We will start soups again in the fall. We are going to have monthly hours this summer.... JUNE. 11 to 9pm JULY 11 to 8pm AUGUST 11 to 8pm til school starts ... Thank you all. Phase 1. Jessie painted surf board back drop and changed logo letters to black. Tomorrow more highlights on in background(surf board), adding "on Nord" below, then onto side panels...coming out great so far!!!
