Dear Customers and Kombat Soccer Supporters, We have been blessed to have been your go to place for all things soccer since we opened Kombat Soccer at Land Park in February of 2002. It has been an honor seeing your kids’ love for the sport grow, as well as to see them grow up these past 19 years. 2020 was the toughest year we’ve endured as a small local business, and it has accelerated our decision to prioritize our efforts in Kombat Ink, Kombat Soccer Team Department, and ...Kombat Soccer Rocklin so that we can improve our service and care for our competitive & recreational sports club partners throughout Northern California. In order to do this, we will be discontinuing retail operations in Sacramento by closing our Land Park store. Kombat Soccer in Rocklin will remain open. Kombat Ink and Kombat Soccer Team Department will continue to produce high quality custom wearables, team uniforms, gear, and equipment in our West Sacramento warehouse location. In the meantime, stop by Kombat Soccer in Land Park to check out our inventory sale until 2/21/2021. Dear Customers: The Greenhaven Soccer Club, in conjunction with Councilmember Rick Jennings and the Pocket Greenhaven Community Association, is proud to host a Drive Through Toy Drive benefitting Outside the Walls. This fun and worthwhile event will take place on Saturday, December 5th from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the SES parking lot 7345 Gloria Drive. This toy drive will be touch-less as well as drive through, and we'll strictly adhere to County Public Health Guidelines. Donors w...ill stay in their car, and either pop the trunk for a volunteer to accept the toy or roll down their window and place their donation in a barrel. Outside the Walls (OTW) is a 501(c)3, dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty, domestic violence, food insecurity and incarceration. OTW works with low income, at risk youth and families; providing a wide variety of counseling services, as well as parenting classes, job training and a food/clothing/household item community closet. The COVID-19 Pandemic has caused severe economic hardship, and the need is greater than ever in many of our underserved communities. GHSC feels fortunate to be a part of such a kind, generous community. Our neighbors always step up to help those in need and that spirit of generosity is needed now more than ever. If you are able, please donate a new, unwrapped toy so that we can help every child feel special this holiday season. We are One Community!

GHSC Families, We wanted to let you know that, like you, we are monitoring the situation with COVID-19. As you are aware, on March 12th, Sacramento County recom...mended that non-essential gatherings with more than 250 people should be postponed or cancelled until at least the end of March. That recommendation was based on advice from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). As you also know, on March 13th, the Sacramento County Office of Education announced that SCUSD schools will be closed until March 30th. In case you had questions regarding GHSC’s upcoming soccer programs, we wanted to let you know our plans. The first session of our Spring Soccer Program is scheduled to begin April 15th. With total registrants well below the 250 person limit, and Trans-Atlantic planning (if needed) to utilize a format that respects social distance boundaries of 6 feet during the sessions, as well as instituting other precautionary measures, we are keeping registration open while continuing to monitor the recommendations of Sacramento County, the CDC and the CDPH. Should the recommendations change, we will adjust accordingly. The health and safety of our members is our number one priority. As of right now, we are planning for our Sumer Camps and Fall Season to proceed as scheduled. Hopefully the pandemic will be over by then.
