Many have asked us how we're different from other coding classes, especially the ones offered through the school. 1. Koding genius will be taught by professional software engineers. 2. The coding classes through the schools are a GREAT introduction into coding. We'd like to take that further, and teach deeper concepts and computational thinking. 3. We will tailor the class to the students' abilities. If we see that the student is ready for more challenges, we'll have them! On the other hand, if we see that the student is struggling, we will adjust the material so the student won't feel left behind.
"Basic Coding Concepts" starts in less than a month on 4/12 in Rossmoor Rush Park. Don't forget to register @ http://bit.ly/kg_register1!

Because of the feedback from many parents, we will most likely be moving the class to a later time in the day. We'll update the time when we can finalize the change. Thanks for being understanding!

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mothers who work tirelessly to make sure their children get the best education and opportunities! Hope you all have a wonderful day!
We covered functions and more conditionals the last 2 weeks. They are important building blocks to computer programming. The students flexed their computational skills muscles and solved many tricky puzzles!
This week the students learned the difference between compiled language and interpreted language. They were also introduced to Javascript and Java syntax. Do you know many people confuse Javascript and Java to be the same thing?
What a great first day of class today! The students learned Sequencing, Loops, Nested Loops and Conditionals. Yes we really covered all those topics in one hour!
