As you know, the Contra Costa County Fair 2021 has been canceled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are a very fortunate county to have the Contra Costa Heritage Foundation, a local non-profit that works to ensure Agricultural opportunities for the youth of Contra Costa County. Again this year, the Heritage Foundation is putting on a Junior Livestock Show and Auction for the county's youth. In order for the Youth Winners to receive the awards, the Heritage Foundation needs the support of the local community in the form of Awards Sponsorships! Please review the Attached Sponsorship Forms and share with anyone (Business or Individual) who might be willing to support Agriculture in our county.

Tomorrow Tuesday Jan 5th order at the Brentwood Panda Express with code below and 20% of sales will go back to the Knightsen 4-H club.

Last Night we Celebrated two Amazing Women - and we congratulate them as they join the esteemed group of 4-H Alumni. There is a time when members have grown and learned as much as they can from us. It is time for them to show us all they’ve learned. It is time for them to Lead: "Tonight, we celebrate two amazing young women, Aleks and Jessica. We have had the opportunity to watch these ladies grow and thrive for years, but now, it’s time for us to tell them how proud we are ...of them, and how much we have enjoyed the past few years. Being successful in 4-H takes a lot of work, a lot of effort, and a lot of support. We’d like to thank the adults in the lives of these two members for all they did to help and support them. Certainly, your support helped them to reach this point. Now, these members join the long list of Esteemed 4-H Alumni. I have every confidence that they will exceed our hopes for them!" Please Join the Members and Alumni of Knightsen 4-H Club in helping these young women celebrate!

Do you have an old Singer Sewing Machine in a closet somewhere that you haven't used in 10 years? Knightsen 4-H members NEED those old dusty machines! OH MY WORD!!!!!!! This Community is AMAZING! Thank you! We have BEYOND reached our goal! We could NOT be more excited to share that after we pick up the machines that have already been promised, we will have received far more than we expected, which is wonderful - many of our youth members who were sharing with siblings won't ...need to do that! Machines that aren't working well can be repaired and allowed to rest. Thank you to all those who've donated Sewing Machines to Knigthsen 4-H! We appreciate you! With COVID restrictions, 4-H Sewing Members are learning and working Virtually this year. Their leaders and working hard to teach them the skills they need to be successful, but everyone knows those older machines are the best to learn on! If you (or someone you know) has one of these machines that still works and you'd be willing to donate it to the Knightsen 4-H Club Sewing Project, please let us know!
