I wanted to send out a quick reminder that my cancellation policy is still in full effect and PLEASE PLEASE do not book an appointment with me for the day after your Covid vaccine. I’ve had far too many day-of cancellations because of this. Please remember I’m a very small business and every cancellation and every no-show is a huge hit to me.

What does a hairstylist do when a client no-call/no-shows for a 7 hour appointment? Their own hair of course! P.S. don’t be like this client. If you need to cancel COMMUNICATE with your stylist. That is time and money we can’t recoup and this past year has been hard enough on us. Hello and happy Monday everyone! I know I’ve been super quite on my page lately. The last round of closures took a huge toll on me mentally and truly forced me to sit with myself and my emotions for a short while. While it was uncomfortable in the moment it seems it was exactly what I needed to shift gears in a positive direction both personally and professionally. I am soooo happy to be back in the salon with full books while also being in a new home space that feels exactly like the sanctuary I have longed for. Today I started my day with an online education class by @hairbrained_official and @hairbytabitha and it was the perfect way for me to get my creative juices flowing for the crazy and exciting week to come!

Who’s ready for a color update? With covid cramping our regular color sessions I see so many people moving from a solid blonde to a soft rooted look. Woo hoo!!! What a wild ride, right? I am so excited to announce that salons are allowed to reopen again and I am ready to hit the ground running. Call or text my direct line to get on the books. All Covid policies and safety measures are still in place. Wait in your car and call or text once arrived. I will respond as soon as I’m ready for you to come to the door. Have your mask on BEFORE coming to the door and be ready for a temp check Absolutely no food or drinks. If yo...u must take a sip of water there is protocol I can walk you through but masks CANNOT come off FOR ANY REASON while inside the salon. This protects ME as well as the other people in the salon. If you’re feeling sick AT ALL please reschedule. If I find out you’re sick and tried to sneak in your appointment I will ask you to leave and reschedule you once I feel comfortable. If you or someone in your household comes into contact with someone with covid I require that you wait the full 14 days and that everyone in your household has a negative test at the end of 14 days. If you’ve traveled by plane I ask that you wait the 14 days before coming in. NEW CLIENTS: As much as I would love to meet you and see you in my chair I am currently only taking existing clients. I’m happy to add you to a waitlist in the meantime.

This has been such a work in progress! This beautiful woman has almost black hair naturally and we have been working on getting her to a soft blended blonde for a very long time. Another Covid quarantine friendly makeover in the books! This lovely ray of sunshine was in dire need of some hair love since we hadn’t cut or colored her hair in over a year! However, she wanted to get away from doing a solid base color that would require her to retouch it every 4 weeks since covid makes that pretty hard and undesirable. She also wanted something that would blend her grays. So I did a full head of baby lights and teasy lights along with strategically placed lowlights. Voila! We have this youthful lived in color!
