This morning, Kiwanis of Greater Tulare had the privilege of hosting the Pursuing Victory with Honor Program. Kiwanis, in conjunction with TCOE’s Character Counts! program recognized the following student athletes for their character on and off the field during the winter sports seasons Jennifer Onsurez - MO Girls Wrestling- Coach Carpenter Jason Hernandez - MO Boys Basketball - Coach Flores... The Kiwanis of Greater Tulare is extremely grateful for the 51 years of service that Bob Bandy and Ed Borges have dedicated to our club! These two individuals have served in various capacities in our club and volunteered a numerous amount of hours to support our community and its future!
Kiwanis of Greater Tulare was once again busy this morning putting on the Tulare County Fair Parade. A big thank you to all who helped this morning, especially our president Bret! This is a great way to give back to our community!
Great presentation this morning on the TJUHSD Academies! TJUHSD currently offers 3 academies: Arts & Media, Engineering, and Pre-Medical. The district is continuing to explore other options for academies. Academies benefit greatly from the opportunity to interact with local businesses. Thank you Mario Flores for your time this morning!
Great presentation this morning by the Creative Center, a nonprofit community arts center for adults with developmental disabilities.
Yearly Kiwanis Reading is Fundamentalprogram at Roosevelt School. Books are read to the students by our members and students also receive a book of their own.
