Kiran's Montessori Preschool

There's so much going on in our classroom. Kids are learning about the life cycle of various insects and observe the changes right in front of their eyes. Here we have some ladybug larvae, and caterpillars. We have discussed parts of insects and also named the parts along with observing it.

Making bird feeders.

Nest making was an outdoor activity. Needless, to say the kids absolutely enjoyed pretending to be birds and looking for all the materials they would need to make the nests:)

Learning about Birds this past couple weeks. Today was sort of the culmination of our discussion. Here are some books and activities we enjoyed. We made some playdough today to use for our nests:)

Happy Holi everyone! Such a fun filled day today. We all enjoyed the holi themed Zumba session followed by playing Holi, and then a Holi special lunch.

Classroom is cleaned, scrubbed, and sanitized ready to go for the Winter session. Looking forward to seeing my students after 2 weeks of Winter break!!
