Recently we have heard that some of the other beauty supply stores in Sacramento county have begun to open their doors and they are allowing people to shop openly in their stores with masks on, saying that because they have a protective Plexiglas shields near the register that it is ok for them to open. Many of our customers are asking why we don't do the same thing and fully open our stores to the public. We did contact the Sacramento County health department this week askin...g them if we followed the same procedures would we be able to fully open to the public. We were given an EMPHATIC NO! The county health department said that retail businesses should only be open to curbside pickup and should NOT be allowing customers into their stores. Any store doing so is doing it counter to the County's orders. But with limited staffing and only 3 phone lines, we are trying our best to accommodate all of our customers. If you can make a list of what you need ahead of time before calling, it can speed up the process for us. We are frantically trying to update our website and Instagram pages with all of our products, but as most of you know it is a daunting task due to the thousands of different products/sizes/colors that we carry. We are trying to follow the County and State's guidelines for our employee's as well as our customer's safety.
