Lord of all, as you have invited us to pray for all those in authority, we come before you today on behalf of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harr...is. Bless them as they take their oaths of office. Give them honesty and integrity, compassion and courage, wisdom and humility. Let them govern with justice, in conformity with your will, for the good of all people. Help all of us to give them the respect and obedience they deserve as the authorities you have established. Move your people to constant prayer for them and for all those who lead and serve in our nation, our states, and our communities. Where there is hatred, anger, or division, grant healing and use us as your ambassadors of peace. Forgive us for taking for granted the blessings you bring us through our governmentespecially the freedom to worship you and proclaim your name. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, Lord of the nations, look in mercy on our nation as we struggle with discord and civil unrest. Frustrate the plans of those who stir up strife ...and violence, and bless the efforts of those who promote harmony and peace. Give to our leaders and all in authority a special measure of wisdom and patience as they carry out their tasks, and grant that justice and peace may prevail throughout our land. Help us in our calling as Christian citizens to reflect your love in all we do. Let the preaching of your gospel, which alone can bring true peace to human hearts, be heard throughout our land. Hear us for the sake of Jesus, the Prince of peace, our Savior. Amen. "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all those who are in authority, in order that we might live a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. " (1 Timothy 2:1-4)

Thanksgiving has come and gone. Now it's on to Christmas. Typically, Christmas season can get messy for many people. Plans and schedules always seem to change. ...Family gatherings bring about arguments and resentment. Thoughts and feelings of loneliness come as we remember someone who is not with us this Christmas. Finances present hard burdens and Christmas expectations are almost never met. Then add in a pandemic and restrictions and this Christmas is nothing short of messed up. Or is it? The path to the very first Christmas was very messy to say the least. Yet, through the messiness of that first Christmas God gave hope to the world. He came into our mess and saved us from it. He is still saving us from the mess today. King's Kids Learning Center is a Christ-centered school-aged (K-6th) child care center. Typically we offer before- and after-school care and transportation; currently we are open as an all-day drop in center to assist students in distance (online) learning. As closing Teacher, you will be in charge of a group of no more than ten students, as well being responsible for closing our center and following the cleaning/disinfecting guidelines. Requirements include having 12 ECE (Early Childhood Education) credits (or if you are currently a student, 6 ECE credits along with 6 months work experience in a classroom) OR at least one year of previous childcare/teaching/in-classroom experience AND must pass a fingerprint background check.
