To celebrate Maundy Thursday the 3-5th grade cohort had a Passover meal. We ate traditional foods...with some appropriate substitutes . As we ate, we discussed what the Passover meal meant to the Israelites of the Old Testament, Jesus and his disciples in the upper room, and for our lives today! . Our students are getting ready to reflect on our Lord's passion, caused by our sins, and the guaranteed celebration of His resurrection victory! Our 6-8th graders participated in a live virtual-presentation from the Themed Entertainment Association at Notre Dame. . The TEA presenters (including King of Kings member, Jake Plocher!) showed a theme park ride they are developing, explained what the six simple machines are, and how they were incorporated into the design. . The presentation ended with a challenge for students to use Google Drawings to design their own ride. Students are encouraged to dress up each day according to the following themes: Monday, March 15 Disney Day: Students dress up or wear clothing with their favorite Disney character. ...
