FB has done one of their weird things. Most people in FB groups are now just getting 'highlights' rather than all posts. To get all of the posts, you need to make a change in notifications. COVID is still a problem and the state is closing down businesses that work inside. Although Kindred Spirits closed for three months the last time, we arent closing down this time. Instead we took our small parking lot, covered the asphalt with mulch and voila! A training yard .

To update everyone on our efforts to keep Kindred Spirits open, yet also keep everyone safe, and to comply with the new COVID requirements here is what's happening. Both Wednesday evening classes will be held as normal this evening. You will see when you come in, we've rearranged everything and the roll up door will be open. For Thursday evenings, the puppy play sessions are cancelled and will remain cancelled until or unless we can find a safe way to hold them. If we do, we ...will let you all know. The Thursday evening Canine Good Citizen graduation will be held as normal. We've been doing quite a bit of that class outside anyway so not a huge change. This week's Saturday classes, July 18th, will be postponed for one week as we get the outside side yard ready for classes. Because we have to postpone those classes, the puppy class scheduled to start on Saturday July 25th at 9am will be postponed one week, beginning instead on August 1st. As of Monday, July 20th, all classes will be held outside. We will be erecting shade, putting down mulch over the asphalt to keep things cooler, and we will have water ready for the dogs. It's not perfect but it's better than closing again. Things can always change, again, but that's it for now.
