Hi, Everyone! I've been quiet lately because I have been SUPER busy setting up my Outdoor "Safari Studio!" We are closed down here in my area of California unless business can be conducted outside. I’ve spent about two weeks purchasing, planning and putting together my outdoor, socially-distanced wardrobe consultation/hair and makeup station/photography studio and am ready for clients! . I’ve got more stations set up around the perimeter of my house for a black backdrop ...with natural light, a grey drop, and my new Lastolite highlite for executive headshots. I’ve essentially set up stations, where we just move around throughout the session. This is my hair and makeup artist assisting me during one of my sessions and my upcoming client during her outdoor wardrobe consult. I call it my "Photo Safari Getaway" ~ it adds a little intrigue... I'm looking forward to starting sessions again this month and seeing everyone in the studio. I've been doing some re-editing of previous work and am going to print this one of Marianna on a 30x40 canvas with a gold frame for the space, as an example of what we create here. Fully guided professional photoshoot with an assistant and makeup touchups, where I pose you from your expression to your fingertips. Not photogenic? Nonsense! It is not your job to be. I've got you! It is my job to connect and make you comfortable, to show you in your best light with flattering posing. Hi, Everyone! I am going to be reopening the studio the week of July 6, and am currently taking bookings for all sessions ~ glamour, family, children, generations, headshots & personal branding and boudoir now that the Coronavirus SIP is lifting. I hope you are doing well, are all safe and healthy and are ready to return to our new normal. I have implemented increased measures and frequency in which ‘high touch’ areas throughout the studio are cleaned and sanitized to mitig...ate any potential Coronavirus spread. I am asking the if clients are feeling ill (feverish, coughing and/or sneezing) and are scheduled for a session, to please reach out to me to reschedule to a later date when they are well. I will continue to do everything I can to keep the studio a clean and safe environment and continue photographing you with love and great care, and with your health in mind. I'll be observing social distancing and face covering requirements and observing guidelines from our local and state officials. Does your Mom or another amazing lady you know over 50 deserve an incredible day? Maybe it's yourself! I am launching a campaign for Wise Women, Faces of Beauty. It's refreshing to see women in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s being increasingly represented in our media, and I think we can do better. These women are strong, courageous and beautiful. I know that the "me" I am now certainly could have given so much to the me I was a decade or even two decades ago. Especially two dec...ades ago! Campaign begins October 1 and will run through December 31 of 2019. The photographs will be printed gallery size and exhibited at a local establishment at a date TBA in 2020.
