We’ve been turning out some great food for those at-risk Sacramento seniors this week! On Tuesday, we made a Greek Yogurt Parfait with Fresh Berries and Nut-free Granola for breakfast, Chili with Cornbread, Cheese & Sour Cream, and a side of Watermelon for lunch, and Pot Roast with Potatoes, Carrots and Broccoli for dinner. Today, we’re sending out our Breakfast Burritos for breakfast, a hearty Minestrone with a Parmesan Breadstick and an Apple for lunch, and Chicken and Vegg...ie Fajitas with Refried Beans, Spanish Rice, Salsa, Sour Cream and Corn Tortillas for Dinner, with a Low-Carb Orange Brownie for dessert. The crew have been troopers adapting to all these new menus!
