Peak Beefsteak season. We’re still coming up with huge tomatoes like this 21 oz beauty! Lots of okra too. Beat the heat with evening shopping. We’ll be leaving the lights on until 8pm through Labor Day, maybe beyond if the heat continues. Thanks for coming out!

Ahhh...the fruits of summer! The Mad Planter has outdone himself this year. Too many tomatoes all at once. Check out our bargain rack for lots of heirlooms. Melons picked just this morning.

We are trialing these organic strawberry plants from Innovative Organic Nursery. Varieties are Frontera and Cabrillo! Circle back come spring.

The Romaine harvest is in full swing. Starting to pick the red lettuce too. The kales and collards have had a revival after all the hot weather. Many of the summer crops are still producing and the butternut bin is full. We’re leaving the lights on until 7pm

Full Moon Friday is extended for the rest of the summer with the addition of lights. We’re expecting the tomatoes to linger because they were so late in coming. No need to worry about the days getting shorter, come and shop until 9 pm.

Pickling cucumbers available today. Let us know how many lbs your recipe calls for and we’ll custom bag them.

So many tomatoes! So many figs! This week we reduced the price of figs by 20%. Summer items that are coming in strong are Okra, Eggplant, Bell Peppers and other Hot Peppers. We’re still harvesting Corn, Zucchini, Watermelons and a few other melons. Open ALL DAY, EVERY DAY!!!!

Did someone says Super size me!? Warm weather is brining it on. Red leaf lettuce and red onions pictured. More of everything else too. We’re back inside under the shade structure again. Just in time for more warm weather. Open All Day, Every Day!

Tomatoes! Tomatoes! Watermelon! We waited so long and now it’s all coming in. All sizes, shapes and colors! Still plenty of Okra, Kale, Zucchini, Cucumbers and Basil. Plus we’re now getting Bell Peppers and Eggplant. Open All Day, Every Day!!

Lettuce harvest is on! We also have fennel, celery, spring onions and some greens. A few others that I can’t name because I’m afraid of people being disappointed when they run out quickly.* We have tomato, herbs and veggie plants in 4 pots. Still using the old stand outside the gate. Come inside to park and don’t forget your mask. *It’s not tomatoes. Still too early.

In response to the barrage of inquiries, we’re open but operating with a skeleton crew. All the rain has put us behind in food production and what we can harvest sells quickly. We still have tomato, strawberry and herb starts in 4 pots as well as some veggies. There are 6 pks available when we have leftovers from planting the fields. Happy spring! Hope to see you soon.
