As many of you know, back in March 2020, Katelynn was awarded an honoree recipient for the 2020 inaugural class of 10 under 20 Food Heroes by Hormel Foods. With this wonderful honor, Katelynn was awarded a grant that is going to our Vista community! Kiki’s Kindness Project choose Solutions for Change as a recipient of part of Katelynn's grant. This amazing organization is dedicated to the Vista community and wider San Diego community. Reindeer Noses This is a fun and easy cooking activity for kiddos. They can be adapted to so many seasons and themes. Don’t forget, you can also make a slightly healthier version with almonds! Ingredients:... - Pretzel squares OR small pretzel twists - Unwrapped Hershey’s chocolate kisses, hugs, or any other flavor you choose - Christmas colored M&Ms Instructions: - Preheat oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. - Place pretzels onto a baking sheet. - Put unwrapped Hershey kisses on the center of pretzel. - Place into oven. You want to pull them out as soon as the chocolate is soft about 4 1/2 minutes. - When taken out of the oven, quickly place an M&M on top of the Hershey kiss and squish it down.

As many of you know, back in March, Katelynn was awarded an honoree recipient for the 2020 inaugural class of 10 under 20 Food Heroes by Hormel Foods. We were not able to go to Boston back in March due to COVID-19. However, Hormel decided to do a virtual ceremony to recognize these 10 amazing kiddos! With this wonderful honor, Katelynn was awarded a grant that will go back to our Vista community and help implement a food pantry in Breeze Hill Elementary, as well as, help fam...ilies with food during these hard times (Vista Teen Outreach). We have worked hard with a small business owner(Mountaingate Creations) and have created some shirt options to purchase. Please consider purchasing a shirt as 50% of sales will go to our Project!
