How do you know if your child needs glasses?? Your child may need glasses, but the signs are often not very obvious. Some signs to look for are squinting, moving closer to objects of interest (TV, books, etc), bumping into things, head turn, headaches, and eye turn. Pediatricians and school nurses often check and may detect vision disorders, but for a diagnosis and treatment a comprehensive exam must be done with an eye care professional.
