Due to all the fun planning going into our Halloween Trolley Parade, we won’t have time to execute a Kidical Mass event for this Month. Be on the lookout for the November Kidical Mass details and we hope to safely see you all in your costumes on Saturday, October 31, from 12-4pm for the Trolley Parade. (Trolley map will be shared on our main Bixby Knolls Business Improvement Association Facebook page)

It wouldn’t be a proper Kidical Mass without the annual "Blessing of the Bikes" by Pastor Danny Bradfield: Blessed are the bikes on which you ride, and blessed are you who ride them. Blessed are those who ride with you, and blessed are those who can’t ride with you now due to COVID-19. Blessed are the bikes we once rode to school, to work, to friends’ houses, and to places of worship; may we be able to do so again soon.... Blessed are the bikes that made us stronger. May our strength continue to grow. Blessed are the bikes which brought us together as a community. May we remain united and connected even now, and always. Kidical Mass Turns 8 this month! It’s been a joy to see the community and families grow over the years, from one bike to two or three alongside them. It’s our monthly marker of growth and we truly have enjoyed every third Sunday that we’ve gotten to explore our lovely neighborhood with you all, street by street and ice cream cone by ice cream cone. We have watched kids grow up and move on to high school, and some kids have come and gone, but we look forward to riding with you... all in the upcoming months and enjoying this Bixby Knolls tradition for many years to come. In light of the current health scare situation, we will cancel the bike ride for Sunday. Back again next month for fun together.

Join us for our monthly family friendly neighborhood ride this Sunday! Bike ride leaves from Georgie's Place (3850 Atlantic Ave) at 1:00PM and will end the route at Deep Blue Swim School (3640 Atlantic Ave) for a fun post-ride pool party. Please bring a swimsuit and towel! Please note: All swimmers 4 and under will need double diapers, there will be two lifeguards on duty, and the water is a cozy 88-90 degrees ... Kids & Adults of all ages & abilities welcome! DJ Phil will be spinning cool tunes. There will be treats for all! See you there!
