Forward lean seated rows for lats. Muscle fibers of our lats run diagonally. Hinging forward during seated rows causes the fibers to align better with line of pull (the direction of the resistance); making this more affective in targeting the lats.
My first movement rundown of many to come! Common thing I see when performing Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs) is the speed in which takes place when lowering the bar. It’s not wrong to drop down to the bottom quickly, but here’s a more efficient way to get the most out of every rep.... When lowering the bar, stay in control of the weight and drive your hips directly back instead of bringing your down. Remain neutral spine and slide the bar along the front of your legs, down to your shins. Notice how the plate never touches the ground. The pause at the bottom causes constant tension on the hamstrings and glutes causing them to work more efficiently throughs the movement.
