Kern County Swap Meet 20.10.2020

WE ARE REOPEN STARTING THIS FRIDAY EVENING, May 22nd, 2020!! This weekend... No shopper admission fees. Look forward to seeing everyone. Please be smart & safe! As the market begins reopens it does not mean your obligated to show up. Do what best for you. For those of us who are comfortable getting back to the norm please use common sense. Please review the following:... Kern County Swap Meet, LLC will be implementing and enforcing the Topics for Employee Training, Individual Control Measures and Screening, Cleaning and Disinfecting Protocols and Physical Distancing Guidelines, as outlined in the CDPH COVID-19 Industry Guidance: Retail and the COVID-19 General Checklist for retail Employers. (See links below for your convenience). In addition, Kern County Swap Meet, LLC will continue to monitor the situation and comply with Federal, State and County guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. As we move forward with reopening, Kern County Swap Meet, LLC has assessed several areas of concern and while we understand the following are initial assessments, we will continue to make daily efforts to identify and adjust the safety protocols necessary to provide a more safe and comfortable environment for our patrons and community. Employees must wear mask and gloves. Vendors must wear mask. No more than two working vendors per 20'x20' space. Encourage shoppers to wear mask and gloves, safety signage will be placed at all entrance and exit points, as-well-as throughout the market, website and social media sites. Food vendors would NOT be allowed to have tables at their spaces, to go only. Lines to enter the market will be barricaded for crowd control and markings on the ground to encourage social spacing of six feet. Add additional wash stations and provide hand sanitizers throughout the market. We will employ or allocate additional personal to janitorial services for faster more effective cleaning and sanitizing of restroom, wash stations and common areas.
