I'm heading back up to see what this brood is up to tomorrow AM, so I thought I should post some of my other favorites from last week's unexpectedly amazing session.

It's taken me almost a month to sort through, curate, and edit the manifold photos I shot on my first visit to this amazing space. I'm excited to return often in 2021, with a new zoom lens with much greater reach.

I was experimenting with using hand-held high resolution mode on my camera. Still working out a few kinks, but very happy with this outcome.

Bought me a Day Pass and explored this new (to me) area. Of course, I'd pick the day when the Santa Ana winds were blowing pretty hard. This made it especially challenging when photographing the raptors in flight.

The Great Conjunction occurred tonight!

There was a lunar/planetary trifecta on Wed night.
