TCAPS THRIFT STORE IS OPEN TODAY!! 9-2 We will be open one Saturday a month and have a small farmers market featuring local creative kids! Come out and support them and shop all the amazing treasures we have!. Our goal has always been to give a hand up and for these kids we are doing just that! We will have farm fresh eggs for sale $4 a dozen by one of our 12 year old volunteers his goal is to purchase a warmer for his chicks ... Fresh squeezed JUICE by one of our sweet 11 year old volunteers ( her goal is to help her brother meet his) Potted succulents and bouquets of fresh flowers by a 13 year old entrepreneur in the making her goal is to save money for college and pay for Christian camp this summer HOMEMADE CUPCAKES by a sweet 10 year old baker her goal is to purchase a mixer to get her baking business going. Unfortunately this is what we find when we return to work. We appreciate all donations BUT when folks leave them on days we are closed many times the donations are gone through by others and we are left with a mess and WE DO NOT TAKE MATTRESSES. Please remember we are a NON PROFIT THAT EXISTS TO HELP FAMILIES IN NEED and now we have to use those funds to PAY FOR A DUMP RUN. We cannot accept damaged items or mattresses because we have to pay for them to get taken to the dump ( that means we lose staff, we pay for gas, we pay for the dump and we would rather HELP FAMILIES with those funds)

Happy Monday friends! This year we gave out enough food to make around 37,000 meals!!!. It was an extraordinary year of helping more people than we expected God is so faithful and we were able to meet so many needs. Thank you to all of you who support us. Ok now imagine families need food guess what many have PETS WHO ARE FAMILY TO THEM. KCAPS IS IN NEED OF PET FOOD CURRENT NEED IS CAT FOOD DRY IS BEST it goes a long ways. We help meet the immediate need YES, BUT it is such a blessing to help meet the spiritual need most of all. We are blessed for every opportunity to love people, s...erve people, pray for people and SHARE the HOPE OF JESUS. The LIGHT SHINES in the darkness and the the darkness has not overcome it .
