To wrap up the 10 week long summer research project, Ish-Kaysh, Jesse, and Mike gave a excellent presentation. They shared with us their experiences, methodology, data collection techniques and findings for their research. We wish the best for this great group of young men as they return to their colleges for the beginning of the fall semester.

Great showing from our Klamath Basin Tribal Youth participants this year at the Inter-Tribal Youth Climate Leadership Congress. We had 12 students this year take advantage of a week long leadership congress with the focus on climate change and the impacts on the tribal communities nationwide. It was a long week with an even longer trip home for most of us (flight delays) but we excelled and made a great representation for our communities here in the Klamath Basin.

KBTYP was honored to support AISI 2016. It was yet another great program that partners CSU Sacramento, UC Davis, and American River College pulled together. The students had a great time and have many memories to take with them. If your tribal high school student would like to participate, be sure to look for the information to apply for 2017. Until next year!!!
