Part 1, Assessment of Plant-Based Protein Quality, introduces the plant-based diet and discusses the sources and quality of plant-based protein. The video is a great way for clinicians to educate themselves quickly on this growing area of interest. ISMP’s Top 10 Medication Hazards and Errors The Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP) has identified the Top 10 Medication Hazards and Errors as reported to them in 2019. The list is not based solely on the most frequently reported problems or those that have caused the most serious consequences to patients, although these factors were clearly considered. Instead, all the hazards and errors on the list have been persistent, often for years, and can be avoided or minimized with system and practice changes. Of note, one of the top 10 errors was a 2019 report of a 1,000-fold overdose of IV zinc in parenteral nutrition for a child. https://www.ismp.org//start-new-year-right-preventing-thes
