Fantastic first step.

As a law student, I volunteered in this courtroom for 18 months. As a lawyer, I helped write a grant so that this program could receive the funding it needed to continue to provide resources to our citizens. Rehabilitation is absolutely possible with the right attitude and making services available to people. There is new case law regarding your gun rights! Reckless behavior (no intent required) is enough to trigger a federal ban on gun ownership. Definitely worth a quick read.

There is now an app available for FREE called Mobile Justice California. This app allows you to record police incidents and then automatically sends it to the ACLU for review. You can even list yourself as a witness to someone else's incident so the ACLU can call and get your side of the story. This app also has important RIGHTS information about what to do when being stopped and searched by officers. Even if you never use the video feature, download the app to read about your rights!
